Q: How can I place an order with the Ministry of Crab?

Q: What modes of payment do you accept?
For your safety, we are following a strict cashless payment method.
Payments need to be made via online payment gateways/channels, UPIs, Wallets, Internet Banking, Airtel Money, PayZapp, Credit Card, Debit Card, etc.
Q: Is there a minimum order value?
We have no minimum order value, and you can order for any amount.
Q: I want to cancel or edit my order?
We will do our best to accommodate your request if the order is placed directly with us and if it is not processed. But once the order is placed and our chef has started preparing your food, we may not be able to edit its contents.
Please note that if your order was placed via any aggregator platform like Zomato or Swiggy, their policy or terms and conditions will be applicable.
Q: Is there an option for me to collect my own order?
Yes, we have an option for curbside pickup. You can place an order by calling us, pay via any of the online payment modes (UPI, Razor pay etc.). Give us your vehicle details so that our dispatcher is ready upon your arrival, with your order. Upon your arrival, you will be asked for the order ID that will be confirmed by our team. Once confirmed, you will be asked to sanitize your hands with our hand sanitizer before receiving the order.
We maintain a strict no-contact curbside pickup with complete social distancing. Please note that to facilitate social distancing, no payments for orders will be collected in cash as a mode of payment.

Q: Will I get an invoice when I order my meal?
Yes. A physical copy of the bill will be attached to the exterior of the packaging box at the time of delivery.
DELIVERY RELATED QUERIES
Q: Do you charge for delivery?
Currently, there is no delivery fee.
Please note that if your order was placed via any aggregator platforms like Zomato or Swiggy or Scootsy, then their delivery charges will be applicable.
Q: How long do you take to deliver?
Standard delivery time varies depending on the location selected and prevailing conditions. However, we aim to deliver non-crab orders in 40-45 minutes & crab dishes in 60 minutes.
Q: What are your delivery hours?
We deliver on all days of the week from Monday to Sunday, from 12 noon to 10:30 pm. However, it is subject to change during the lockdown period.
Please note, we do not take any orders post 10.30 pm.
Q: Can I change the address once the order has been placed?
We will do our best to accommodate your request if the order is placed directly with us.
But we will not be able to make any change if the delivery has already been initiated and the person has left the restaurant with the parcel.

Q: Are the crabs frozen or fresh?
The Ministry of Crab is against frozen seafood.
Q: From where do you get your crabs?
Our crabs are sourced from the coastal belt of India. We only serve the best catch of the day. When it comes to crab, small, meatless, unevenly sized pincers are unacceptable at the table.
The Ministry of Crab is strongly against farmed crabs and we believe crabs belong to the wild, and their availability on our menu is based on the day’s catch.
We apologize in advance if the size of crab you desire is not available.
Q: What other seafood do you serve apart from Crabs?
We have a variety of Prawns & Fish preparations apart from crabs.
Q: Is the fish fresh or frozen?
All fish served at the Ministry of Crab should be, and is, fresh enough to be served as Sashimi.
SAFETY & HYGIENE STANDARDS
Q: What steps do you take to ensure the delivery of my order via third party aggregators like Zomato and Swiggy is safe?
● No third-party delivery partner will be allowed to enter our restaurant premises. All orders to the delivery partner will be handed over from the designated area.
● The delivery person should be wearing the brand uniform for ease in identification and must be wearing the prescribed PPE (Face mask, face visor and gloves).
● We re-confirm the order and check whether the delivery partner is carrying a clean delivery bag for the order and ensure that his vehicle is thoroughly sanitized.
● At any point of time, the delivery partner will be expected to maintain 1-meter distance from the desk.
● We use digital thermometers to check his/her body temperature and record the same in our temperature logbook. If the temperature is above 37.5C or 99 F, we decline to hand him/her the order. We inform the aggregator point of contact immediately and arrange for another delivery partner.
● We also have an online self-declaration process for the delivery partner.
